Hello everyone,
I have some corrections to post about my last monthly reading wrap-up. Unfortunately, my online presence had plummeted last month due to my computer breaking. The hinges were beginning to pop out of the frame! I have had this happen on an old computer and it completely ruined it. My regularly scheduled posts should be coming back on. January 27th - February 13: Icebreaker by Hannah Grace February 14 - February 18: Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling February 19 - February 22: How She Died. How I Lived. by Mary Crockett February 23 - February 26: Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling Enjoy! - Amy :) Hello everyone,
How I make my blog posts for the reading wrap-up is by scheduling a post. That way, in case I forget to post or update the blog, it will still post on the date. In saying that, some of my dates are incorrect when they are posted. Here is the updated dates: January 21st - January 27th: Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling January 28th - Ongoing: Icebreaker by Hannah Grace Forgive me! These will probably be a new addition to these blog posts! - Amy :) Hello everyone,
I did not meet my goal of trying to stay out of bookstores and buying new books. How could I when I received so many Barnes & Noble gift cards? My stack is getting huge, but it gives me much more motivation to read as to when I only had a little bit of books. I've been rereading old books and reading new books. With that, I have been rotating how I'm reading them. Here's my reading wrap-up for January :) - Amy Hello everyone,
With the break coming up in December, I plan to read so much more! This list should be a lot bigger than the list for November. I have about six big piles of books that I am trying to read BEFORE I buy more books. I have even done the impossible and won't allow myself to walk into a bookstore! However, that might be short lived. Even being surrounded by books is the best thing to me. I love the smell, the atmosphere, and the possibility for finding a new obsession. Without further ado, here is my reading wrap-up! - Amy :) Hello everyone, My reading has definitely decreased since the beginning of the school year! However, I still find an hour at the end of the day to try and read. Unfortunately, I usually end up falling asleep and can't comprehend what I'm reading! I have been stuck on the second Nightworld book for a week now! To help increase my mojo with reading while I am teaching, I have been borrowing books from the library. My students walk to the library to obtain books so I thought that I would too. So you might see some timeline differences where I am reading two books at once - that is WHY. November 6th - 12th November 12th - Ongoing:
Hello everyone, I've noticed the past couple months of June-September, that most of my blog posts had been about what I have read. While I love reading, I do not want my blog posts to JUST be focused on that. It can cause confusion with new readers that they just think I read and review books - but I also write them! So instead of doing the WWW Wednesday's, I am going to do a monthly reading wrap-up. It will be posted the last day of each month. With each monthly wrap-up, I will have the dates that I read the book (to and from), my rating (3+ will be posted, anything below a 3 will not be posted publicly), if it was a first-time read, reread, giveaway winner, or series, a cover image, the title, and author. If you are still interested in seeing what I am reading as I read it, you can check out the "Amy" page. I update that frequently! Here's to the new monthly-wrap up! October 1st - 5th:
